Christmas Day Celebration

Holi Celebration
Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, is a vibrant and exuberant celebration observed by Hindus. It marks the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. During Holi, people joyfully throw colored powders and water at each other, dance to lively music, and indulge in festive treats, creating a lively and festive atmosphere of love, unity, and pure joy.
Republic Day 2023 Celebration
Republic Day is a momentous occasion in India, commemorating the day when the Constitution of India came into effect. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism, featuring parades, cultural performances, and flag-hoisting ceremonies. Republic Day is a time to honor the democratic values, diversity, and unity of the nation, while reflecting on the progress made and renewing the commitment to upholding the principles enshrined in the Constitution.
Dussehra Celebration
The word Dussehra is made of two Hindi words 'Dus' and 'Hara' where 'Dus' denotes the number (10) and the word 'Hara' denotes defeat. 'Dussehra' is formed by adding these two words.
Little Neiilites enjoyed the Dussehra Celebration in the school. Kids played the characters of Ramleela. And understood that, Dussehra is the festival that signifies the victory of good over evil.
Mom 'n' Me
“A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.” - Cardinal Meymillod
Mother’s love is a feeling, something which requires unlimited words to explain because it is as deep as an ocean. To strengthen this bond NWS Guna, organised MOM & Me Event for the students of pre-primary. The programme began with the lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. The fun-filled programme, began with Ganesh Vandana, was presided over by Dr Rashmi Shukla and Mrs Sarika Lamba.
The students of class- Nursery participated in the Ramp Walk with their mothers while the students of classes - LKG and UKG participated in Fancy Dress and Dance Competitions with their mothers respectively. On the other hand, the students of classes - I to V participated along with their moms in different activities, viz. Slok Chanting, Krishna Bhajan, Matki Decoration, Story Telling and Skits, based on the stories of Krishna Janmashtami.
The celebration culminated with the Vote of Thanks and token of appreciation, given to each of the guests, by our respected Principal, Mrs Poonam Kumar.
