72ND INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
NWS celebrated the 72nd Independence Day with great respect, splendor and joy for Mother India. Dr. Amit Goyal (Chairman, Lions Club) was the Chief Guest on this special occasion. Among the other dignitaries present were Mr. Sanjeev Verma (Secretary, Lions Club) and Mr. Atul Jain (Treasurer, Lions Club) and some denoted personalities of the city of Morena. The National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, Dr. Amit Goyal. The Cultural program was interspersed with some outstanding performances by the talented students of NWS. A stupendous action song performed by the Vishwas House students created an atmosphere of respect for the martyrs of our country. The group songs sung by the Kartavya House students-“Inssaf ki Dagar par” and “Ae Watan Aabad rahe tu” was sung with great pride and true sentiments for the nation. An energetic and reverberating dance was presented by the students of Nischay House on the song-“Suno Gaur se duniya walon.” The Aabhas House students presented an astounding skit depicting the glimpses of the Kargil War and the sacrifice of the martyrs for our nation. Mansi Sikarwar of Class 10 in her eloquent speech spoke about love for the nation. NWS Principal, Mr. Dennis Augustine lauded the performances of the students and motivated everyone to give the best for our nation.
